Turkish industrial knife manufacturer Yalman Knives exhibited at ANKIROS 2026, held October 22-24, 2026 at the Istanbul Expo Center, showcasing its rolling mill knives, rollers and nozzles, scrap shear blades and shredder blades for the iron and steel and metal recycling industries.
ANKIROS, which brings together the iron and steel, foundry and non-ferrous metallurgy industries, was held for the 17th time this year. Together with the World Foundry Congress and the International Metallurgy and Materials Congress, both held in Istanbul the same week, the show became one of the key meeting points of the metallurgy world.
Headquartered in Tuzla, Istanbul, with its manufacturing plant in the Gümüşova Organized Industrial Zone in Düzce, Yalman Knives exhibited at Hall 5, Booth E140. Our booth featured rolling mill knives, rollers and nozzles for steel rolling mills, as well as scrap shear blades, shredder blades and granulator knives for scrap processing facilities.
Throughout the show, we welcomed many domestic and international visitors to our booth, including steel producers, rolling mills, foundries, scrap processors and equipment manufacturers. Key topics included blade life, wear resistance, replacement blades compatible with existing lines and delivery times.
We also shared information with our visitors about the production processes at our factory in Düzce. Yalman Knives carries out the entire manufacturing process in-house, from machining and heat treatment to grinding and quality control. Thanks to the in-house vacuum heat treatment furnaces at our factory, our blades are hardened in a controlled manner. This method ensures uniform hardness distribution along the blade, minimal distortion and a clean surface finish, increasing the wear resistance and service life of our blades. Managing the entire process under one roof also means consistent quality, full traceability and shorter delivery times for every product.
