Mobile shears are powerful excavator attachments used on site to cut structural steel, beams, pipes, car bodies and heavy scrap. Working under extreme cutting forces, their performance depends largely on the wear resistance and impact strength of their blades. Fast-wearing blades mean more frequent blade changes, longer machine downtime and higher operating costs.
Yalman Knives has brought its manufacturing experience in scrap shear blades and shredder blades to mobile shear blades. The blades can be manufactured to fit mobile shear attachments of various brands and models, and are used in a wide range of applications, from scrap metal recycling facilities and demolition projects to industrial plant dismantling and ship breaking yards.
Yalman Knives carries out the entire manufacturing process in-house at its factory in the Gümüşova Organized Industrial Zone in Düzce, from machining and heat treatment to grinding and quality control. Thanks to the in-house vacuum heat treatment furnaces at our factory, our blades are hardened in a controlled manner. This method ensures uniform hardness distribution along the blade, minimal distortion and a clean surface finish, increasing the wear resistance and service life of our mobile shear blades.
